The Philippine Embassy in Brussels conducted a consular outreach mission in Luxembourg on 16–17 September 2023.

The Embassy’s consular section provided consular services to clients living in Luxembourg and Belgium, including passport renewal, applications for retention/reacquisition of Philippine citizenship, NBI fingerprinting, legalization of documents, civil registration, and overseas voting registration. Nine clients also retained or reacquired their Philippine citizenship as they took their Oath of Allegiance.

The Migrant Workers’ Office in Berlin joined the outreach mission and provided services, including contract verification, Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) registration, labor counseling, and OWWA membership registration.

The Embassy also met with members of the Women Helping Women (WHW) Network – Luxembourg to discuss pertinent issues faced by Filipino women in Luxembourg.
