ARCHIPELAGO ABROAD: Stories of the Philippine Diaspora in Belgium
The Migration Museum (MMM) will host a new temporary exhibition entitled ARCHIPELAGO ABROAD, a fascinating exploration of the stories of the Philippine diaspora in Belgium.
Through a series of visual, auditory, and narrative testimonials, this exhibition sheds light on the journeys, challenges, and successes of members of the Philippine community living in Belgium. It invites visitors to reflect on how these individual experiences are part of Belgium’s broader migration history. ARCHIPELAGO ABROAD gives a voice to a community that is often underrepresented.
The exhibition period is from 17 January to 1 March 2025.
The MMM is at Rue des Ateliers 17, 1080 Molenbeek. For more information, visit the MMM website at https://mmm.brussels/en/
