Embassy Welcomes Visiting Students from the De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde School of Diplomacy and Governance
Twenty-three (23) students from the School of Diplomacy and Governance of the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) in Manila visited the Philippine Embassy in Brussels for a courtesy call on His Excellency Jaime Victor B. Ledda yesterday, 20 March 2023.
Before coming to Brussels, the students participated in the Harvard World Model United Nations Paris 2023 (HWMUN 2023) that was held in Paris, France on 12-16 March 2023. They belong to the AB-CDA (Bachelor of Arts in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs), AB-DIA (Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs) and AB-GPA (Bachelor of Arts in Governance and Public Affairs) programs under supervision of Ms. Shiela Mae M. Sabalburo, Faculty Adviser for the HWMUN 2023 delegation.
Ambassador Ledda Hosts Vin d'Honneur Upon Presentation of Credentials
Ambassador Jaime Victor B. Ledda held a vin d'honneur at the Embassy of the Philippines in Brussels following his Presentation of Credentials to His Majesty King Philippe, the King of the Belgians, on 15 March 2022.
Joining the Ambassador in the vin d'honneur are his family, the Royal Palace's aide-de-camp, and Embassy officers and staff.

Ambassador Jaime Victor B. Ledda Presents Letters of Credence to H.M. King Philippe, King of the Belgians
Philippine Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium H.E. Jaime Victor B. Ledda presented his credentials to His Majesty King Philippe, King of the Belgians, on 15 March 2023 at the Royal Palace of Brussels.
In his message to the King, Ambassador Ledda conveyed the best wishes of Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and appreciation for the enduring friendship between the two countries and their peoples.

Women's Art Exhibit Highlights Brussels PE's Celebration of International Women's Day and National Women's Month
The Philippine Embassy in Brussels celebrated International Women’s Day and the start of National Women’s Month with a women’s art exhibit entitled Pinays: Tinig ng Lakas (Filipinas: Voices of Power) and Networking Event on 08 March 2023 at the Chancery.
The art exhibit showcased thought-provoking and inspiring works of Filipina artists from Belgium, (Ms. Amihan de Sosa, Ms. Mylene Factora, Ms. Anna Beth Santilla, and Ms. Lise Paul Abitona Lackman), the Philippines (Ms. Fabi Nazareno, Ms. Kathleen Dagum, and Ms. Kevin Marie Becira), and Germany (Ms. Sandra Torrijos). The artworks were presented in different media, but all conveyed messages of love, strength, resilience, hope, and power that are every woman’s legacy.
