PRA General Manager and CEO Cynthia Lagdameo Carrion Calls on Ambassador Ledda, Discusses Plans for PRA
The Philippine Embassy in Brussels, Belgium welcomed Ms. Cynthia Lagdameo Carrion, General Manager and CEO of the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) and former President of the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines, on 03 October 2023. Ms. Carrion discussed with Ambassador Jaime Victor B. Ledda and Embassy personnel her plans for the PRA.
Ms. Carrion and Atty. Sid Castro-Tayag, Managing Director of Learn and Train Sports Academy, were in Belgium to accompany Filipino gymnasts Carlos Yulo and Aleah Finnegan, who competed in the 52nd FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Antwerp. Mr. Yulo and Ms. Finnegan recently qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
PH Embassy in Brussels Commemorates the 132nd Anniversary of the Publication of El Filibusterismo in Ghent
The Philippine Embassy in Brussels, in collaboration with Philippine Honorary Consul General Ronny de Blaere, and together with the Filipino community leaders, students, and academicians, commemorated the 132nd anniversary of the publication of El Filibusterismo in a series of events on 30 September 2023 in the city of Ghent.

Maj. Rogelio C. Moncilla, Capt. Darl Lennon G. Papas, and MSg. Jonathan J. Tuban of the Philippine Air Force called on Ambassador Jaime Victor B. Ledda on 28 September 2023 at the Embassy of the Philippines in Brussels, Belgium.
The officers were in Belgium to attend the C-130 Recurrent Pilot Course in Steenokkerzeel.
First PH-EU Sub-Committee on Maritime Cooperation Takes Place in Brussels
The first Sub-Committee on Maritime Cooperation under the Philippines-European Union Partnership and Cooperation Agreement was convened in Brussels on 27 September 2023.
